My Digital Sticker Etsy Shop

It’s been just a couple of months now that I’ve been working on my etsy shop! I currently sell digital stickers for digital planners and also planner printables.

Why did I start with a digital product shop? I had started seeing quite a lot of digital planners/plan with me type of videos pop up on my explore pages. Digital planning seemed a very clean way to not also organise your life but also the scope to express yourself creatively was endless!

I started making my own stickers for my digital planners and notebooks and thought I should sell them as well! And so this was the beginning of my shop: Susisoup!

I was shocked to find my first sale occurring after only a matter of days! I’m pleased to know that people do actually want to buy things I create! Since then, I’ve been regularly creating listings and slowly but surely seeing a lot more traffic and sales!

I’ve learnt a lot of things along the way, here are my top 3 tips for new Etsy shop owners

Before you sign up with Etsy! Make sure you use a referral link so you can get 40 free listings. I didn’t know this so I missed out of the opportunity. There are plenty of Etsy shop owners with links! And I’m not different, if would like to use mine, then click here. If you click then you will receive 40 free listings and so will I 🙂

Be Patient and stop checking your stats every minute! There were days when I would be just waiting for a sale to come through. For what reason? I don’t know, but there are better uses for your time. Your time is better spent working on new listings or learning new skills. Check maybe one or twice a day and move on!

Watch youtube videos to further your education on owning an Etsy shop. In order for your listings to be found on Etsy, it’s extremely important to understand SEO. I’m not sure I have 100% got the hang of it but I’ve been making changes here and there to drive traffic to my shop, thanks to tips I’ve gleaned from other successful etsy shop owners.

Working on my Etsy Shop …

Today I’m concentrating on adding listings to my Etsy store. This is a digital memo set! I wanted to have some dreamy bright colour memo notes so I came up with this last night.

I’m really getting into owning an Etsy shop! I wasn’t really sure how I would fair since I’ve never done it before. There’s a lot of things to learn but I’m starting to properly enjoy the process. I feel like I’m taking small steps every day and counting all the small wins as I embark on my creative journey.

I took on a Ghibli Art Challenge in Procreate

Today I’m sharing a speed drawing that I did in Procreate. I thought I wasn’t particularly strong in background work (on a tablet) so I decided to try and replicate a Miyazaki background with this Ghibli Art Challenge.

I had this postcard of a setting from ‘Spirited Away’ and tried to copy it by eye!!! The results are below.
